Description

NxtGen is looking for Automation Testers to join our Product Development team. You will be responsible developing testing framework using Selenium, Appium and REST Assured frameworks. Working closely with the members of the UK team as well as the lead, the Test Automation Engineer role at Amplify will be responsible for building test automation framework for Amplify platform.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that a robust, scalable, and secure architecture is implemented and maintained for automation testing.
  • Interfacing with the Product, BA, offshore and Devteam to determine their requirements and understand how these will be implemented and tested.
  • To design, support, and maintain flexible, cost-effective information systems solutions meeting all business requirements.
  • Working closely with members of the team to complete the tasks on time and high quality.
  • Keeping current with new technologies and making recommendations to the team while maintaining and enhancing existing product code base.
  • Working with members of the other testing team QA, Developer, DevOps and delivery teams to ensure products are tested to its high standards.
  • Establish test strategy and create and maintain manual and automated test suites.
  • Ensure test cases and test plans are created and maintained as per user stories and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • At least 2+ years professional experience in Automation Testing.
  • Working experience with Test case management tools such as Test Rail or Zephyr or similar.
  • Strong Knowledge of web and mobile technologies. Native apps testing is must.
  • Knowledge and experience in automated web, mobile application and RESTful service testing.
  • Experience with test frameworks and automation tools such as Selenium, Appium and REST Assured.
  • Knowledge on Cucumber and Gherkin is also must.
  • A passion for test infrastructure, test architecture and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of CI automation systems to create automated builds.
  • Possess an agile mind-set, fast to adapt to constant changes and comfortable with it.
  • Ability to work with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability and testability.
  • Working Experience with Flutter framework based mobile application testing is desirable.
  • Working experience in working with cloud-based technologies and experience with AWS device farm is desirable.

 

Education/Qualifications

  • 1st class honors degree in Computers or similar*
  • ISTQB or any formal programming certification

Experience Significant

  • Test Automation framework development*
  • Native Mobile apps testing*

  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills*
  • Experience of SDLC & Agile Methodologies (Kanban/Scrum/SAFe)*
  •   Selenium (Web driver), Appium and REST Assured
  • Test Rail or Zephyr or similar
  • Git, Jenkins, JIRA, CI/CD
  • Cucumber and Gherkin
  • REST full Web Services, Micro Services, Dockers, Gradle, Maven, AWS Device Farm and Cloud Technologies
  • Database: MySql or Postgres or similar RDBMS and any No SQL knowledge
